I never work on prickly conifers without these gloves. They are made for car mechanics, so you can imagine how well they work for bonsai. Sometimes I have to look at my fingers to be sure there's not a hole in the glove because they have such a fine touch. You'll be able to work as though your hands were bare, but have so much cleaner, less scratched hands when you're finished.
