The Art Of Natural Bonsai by Dave Joyce

I was first attracted to this book when I learned that it was written during the last months of the author’s life, and that all royalties from the book are donated to cancer research. But beyond that, a unique but seemingly obvious aspect of bonsai is thoroughly discussed here: making your bonsai look like an actual tree from nature, not a structured imitation that looks just like its neighbor. Design principles are covered, as well as cultivation, care, and presentation. An excellent book!
